Most people know Robin as an author of best-selling, award-winning computer books, as a teacher, and as a Macintosh evangelist. She has been credited with changing the way computer books are written (so that you can understand them). She has created a devoted following by making computer technology accessible and enjoyable for hundreds of thousands of readers.

Robin has taught both traditional and digital design, typography, desktop publishing, and web design. Her books are published in sixteen different languages. She co-founded the Santa Fe Mac Users Group and the New Mexico Internet Professionals Association and has participated in workshops and seminars all across North America.
