Just to the left (and out of view) is a church where some of the "Legacy of Letters" participants made rubbings of the lettering on ancient stones that were mounted on the front wall of the church. Some churches don't like for tourists to make rubbings of their old stone letters. Some churches have grouchy old men who scold you and shout "Impossible! Impossible!" at you. Fortunately, this particular chuch also had a friendy, disabled person sitting on the ground next to the front door who acted as a lookout after the grouchy guy went inside.
