While staying at the Bini compound in Castelfranco we decided to take a side trip to Florence via a 7:30 a.m. train. The train station was only a 15 minute walk away but when we left early in the morning, to our surprise, the front gate was padlocked. You just don't get bonding experiences like this everyday.
