We stayed several days in a country farmhouse (owned by Madame Bini) in Castelfranco. Commuters chain their bicylcles to the fence at the train station while they're working in nearby Modena. If you're interested in antique bicycles, this is a must stop on your tour. I was pretty sure that if I had waited for the afternoon train from Modena, I would have seen PeeWee Herman unchain one of the bicycles.
