If you hike up to the top of the mesa you have a nice view of Pueblo Bonito. The trail to the top of the mesa is pretty crude. No steps or stairs. No handrails or safety precautions. If this was California or New York, the trail would be lined with lawyers waiting for a big payday. Don't forget to notice the summer crowds. I recommend coming during peak tourist time. In the off-season it gets extremely lonely.
