Url: I know you've done some traveling recently. What foreign country is this?

JT: This is Santa Fe, New Mexico. It's actually a part of the United States, but you might not realize it if you went there. The tourist industry in Santa Fe has been thriving for a long time because most tourists think they're in a part of Mexico that speaks English and accepts American money. This image shows the New Mexico Museum of Fine Arts, on the northwest corner of the Plaza.

Url: Did you spend much time on this painting?

JT: This one went fairly fast. One or two seconds, I'd say. I like using the "Paint Daubs" filter and the "Dry Brush" filter in Photoshop. Sometimes I combine two or more filters, but that slows me down quite a bit. If I'm going to be as prolific as Georgia O'Keeffe I have to spend as little time as possible on each image and claim it's art no matter what it looks like.

Url: You can just shut up with your snide remarks about Ms O'Keeffe. Some of my favorite relatives are from Abiquiu and later this summer I'm going to feature Ms O'Keeffe and her "neighborhood" in a Cafe Travel Guide Exclusive. Viva la Abiquiu y Espanola!
